Gala Armchair

The surrealist movement changed the way art was defined. Known as the most influential movement in the twentieth century, the surrealists focus on the unconscious as a means to unlock the power of the imagination. Salvador Dalí is memorably recognized for being one of the pioneers of this movement. Besides his wild art, Salvador Dalí was a public personality to match.

Malabar’s designers interpreted the famous painting of Dalí, “Metamorphosis of Narciso”, and designed the surrealistic-inspired Gala armchair. Supported by four Breccia spheres handworked by marble specialized markers, its chubby seating is upholstered in a trendy Jacquard textile.
