The Vela Dining Chair, designed by Omer Ozturk for Malabar, expresses a contemporary interpretation of movement within a static form. Its silhouette is defined by a fluid approach, inspired by the idea of a sail in motion, translated into a sculptural yet balanced presence.

The backrest features a soft, organic curve that echoes classical arch forms, reinterpreted through a refined, minimal language. This contrasts with a structurally disciplined stainless steel frame, which introduces architectural clarity and visual stability, resulting in a design that feels both grounded and light.
