“Back with Back”
Created in 2012 for the original Tudo Isto É collection, Back with Back imagines the Portuguese guitar as a traveling companion. Fitted with black leather straps, the instrument rests on the body like a backpack, with an airline baggage tag still attached, marked “GIG”. The title plays on the back of the instrument and on the body that carries it, bringing the idea of the touring musician to an object traditionally tied to a place.
